about
Struktures was born from an idea for a single track that was meant to be an exclusive release for a record label that I have been working with. Over the course of working on the track, I began to realize that it was going to be bigger than I initially planned; I was dialing in a wide range of interesting textures which spoke to me, and the idea for an interlude album in between trilogy albums began to take shape.
Struktures is presented in five equal parts; pillars of a greater whole. It is meant to be a feverish pentagon of sound; stripped down to bare walls. This album falls in between trilogy albums, and is not meant to represent or have ties to the trilogy that began with 2018's self-titled album Worm Monolith, but rather to exist alongside these albums as its own separate entity. This is not a concept album, but there is a slight theme here for those that wish to explore deeper. It's up to you.
This album features gapless playback. XXYY.
